When the program is installed using the SETUPMassSTW2008.exe file, all of the files needed for the program are put in the folder C:\MassSTW2008 (or other location if you choose to specify a different location during the setup). The setup routine also adds the program to your START menu. IF YOU NEED TO MOVE THE PROGRAM to another computer during the year or to a network location, you should move the entire folder MassSTW2008 to the new location. Then, once it is moved, you should create a shortcut on the Desktop or START menu that opens/runs the "MassSTW.exe" file in the MassSTW2008 folder. [The MassSTW.exe is the executable file that starts the runtime database program.] If you are moving to a new computer, you can move the folder from the original computer to a memory stick by using copy-and-paste, and then move the folder from the memory stick to the new computer using copy-and-paste again. If you are moving to a network folder you can cut-and-paste the folder from the old location to the network location. You should only move the program if you are comfortable working with folders and creating shortcuts. |
